I've been going through another stint of artist block (or maybe just boredom?) with the movie art lately. Sorry for the lack of new vids & art.
I did do this little painting last week (to get my brain interested again, and hopefully get the creative juices flowing)
It started out as just a throw away sketch, but I ended up liking it so much, I went ahead and painted it.
I changed a few things around, but ended up pretty happy with it.
... and since I can't seem to paint anything without it ending up on eBay eventually, here's the link for anyone interested in buying it - Buy the Original Art
Thanks everyone

Great and powerful !
yeah, thats really cool... reminds me of frazetta and richard kane ferguson
Awesome. Jeff! Rockin' the Frazetta again! He also used to be able to capture so much action with little more than gestures or swipes of the brush that would look like children's art in anyone else's hand. Both you and he imply so much more visual detail than what is actually painted on the piece itself. Just grand!
Looks awesome! I think you should totally do more of these! Perhaps some concept art from your kickstarter project from a while ago? I still hope you get the opportunity to continue working on that!
That's cool! What were your steps on this one? Love your videos.
Thanks for the inspiration you give me and for liking some of my artwork!
Love the colors. Really cool piece.
Jeff even your "little painting" rocks man! It's got awesome colors, dynamic poses, and great movement throughout the piece...my only complaint is I'm always low on cash when your things go up on ebay!!! That's on me though, and I'm officially starting a Jeff Lafferty Original painting fund today so I can be prepared next time you have a piece of work for sale. Great stuff man, hopefully this little painting unlocked the Artist block.
He must be mad, throwing a naked woman away! Craziness, I tell you!!!
How have you been, Jeff?
Thanks for the awesome comments guys!
