PRINCESS LEIA SKETCH CARD - WORK IN-PROGRESS

I felt like doing a bit of drawing tonight, just to wind down from the whole kickstarter debacle.

Now that its over I almost feel a little pissed about it ending up unsuccessful. I hate having to walk away from an idea that I know was a good one.

It also sucks that the people that did fund the project ($1200 worth) now won’t get their stuff, just because of the way kickstarter works. It’s all or nothing with them, either 100% funded or you get nothing.

I know its probably just ego, but it feels a little like we lost a fight and now we’re having to limp off, with our tails between our legs.

... it just doesn't sit well.

Hey Jeff, Princess Leia looks great man, It's amazing seeing how cool you artwork is.

As far as the Kickstarter thing goes, now that we're at the end of it I'm relieved, I think everything went great and I'm happy that we actually received pledges, made some friends, learned about Kickstarters flaws and walked away with some useful knowledge. I am excited to see what the future holds.

This Leia card is going to look great once you get it all painted. Thanks for sharing the progress with us!

What Kickstarter thing? Where? Was it posted here? I missed it?

Hey Jeff,

Great start to the Leia card. You shouldn't let the Kickstarter thing get you down, I know it sucks but you gotta focus on the positive brother. You guys got some experience with the website and an idea for the market out there... next time buddy!
