COLOR - Wednesday, December 19th, 2012
Progress continues with the Adam West / Julie Newmar piece. Today I managed to get the pencil study transferred to a new piece of illustration board, and I sprayed the initial rough color pass.
I’m really enjoying doing this card .. and I think I needed it too. If nothing else, just to boost my confidence a bit.
I've had a really hard time fitting in anything creative this year, too much real world work and not enough time at the drawing board.
Its hard to finish a piece when you’ve only got an hour or two to paint each night. Its easy to get bored or sidetracked, and when things aren’t getting done and I have nothing to show for my time, that’s when I really start second guessing myself.
Anyway, I got laid off from my ‘real world’ job earlier this month, and even though money is going to be tight, I’m really looking forward to getting back to the table and just drawing and painting again.
Thanks for visiting the blog everyone
Jeff
