Inspiration struck and I knocked out this little painting over the last few days.
I experimented with different media, oils, acrylic, colored pencil and ink … just let necessity be my guide and trying not to over think it ... I really liked the way it turned out!
I named the piece Mjolnir - Thor’s Hammer.
Here's the link to the gallery - Link ... and if anyone is interested in the original art, it's now on eBay - Link
Thanks, for all the comments & support!

Great!
This is truly powerful.
It's an awesome concept/vision wonderfully crafted in Acrylics. Good job.
Hail Tonir !!!
love the texture and the colour!
Not 'like', buddy - 'LOVE'! This is the Thor I have stuggled to capture and YOU nailed it! All the dynamicism of a Frazetta with the Lafferty signature style! Got to have one.
Great piece!
awesome work!
Knocked it outta the freakin' park!!! ( I'm bowing right now ). And I just bid on it, yes yes, I shall make it mine!
This has sick brushwork!
Good timing, in conjunction with the recent new Thor movie
This 100% badass. I had a Thor's hammer necklace, but it fell down a vent.
I really like this style of background" it enhances the figure and hammer in movement

This is excellent work. That shield looks heavier than both Thor and Mjolnir combined!
