Very cool and I loved the extended video at GumRoad. I also really dug the idea of you painting on the MDF board. It definitely adds a dimension to the painting and I really liked seeing the difference between that and the regular illustration board. Great stuff as always!

Fave from me for sure!

Generally speaking, your art always has a certain freshness over it. And this piece is no exception to that. Next to that, there is so much detail in this piece! I also like how detailed the character is compared to the blurred background. This works really well in this piece. One of your best pieces if you ask me!

You should sale this as a DVD tutorial on ebay. I would buy it. By the way that's one incredible piece of work. Have you ever consider drawing your stop animation in graphic book format and get it funded through Kickstarer. http://www.kickstarter.com/?ref=nav

Will you be making prints of this one available, Jeff? Customs duty in the UK stopped me from snapping up the original but it's a stunning piece.

Wow that looks amazing! well done!

If you don't mind me asking a dumb question.. how did you make those cutouts you use (sorry I don't know the term) around 1:17 in the youtube video?

Really cool to watch your process and an awesome painting of one of my favorite movies!

tearsinraine ... Thanks for the comment & question. The cut outs are little 'airbrush masks' I make out of printed copies. I scan the piece then print out a few copies, then cut them out with my utility knife. I'ts always seemed easier doing it this way rather than messing around with friskit or tracing paper.

Eduardo Franzoi ... Thanks!

ricardo-bruins ... Thank you!

DimRasha ... Thanks!
