Hi everyone ... In this episode talk about a problem I had with Grumbacher spray fixative. I also preview a new X Files painting I'm working on.

I learned to never trust that spray fixative years ago, at least not on important works... there's too much of a risk of that frosted look. Better to use a clear matte or gloss acrylic spray.

Was it damp when you sprayed it... and how long have you had the can...

It defiantly wasn't damp, it was a hot day in summer, and I sprayed it in the shade. This happened all while ago. I actually found the answer and fixed piece, I talked about it in this later video ... http://youtu.be/b4lGuYhjfhM

Was the fix to spray a different clear on top?

Yes, the stuff that messed it up was 'Grumbacher', the stuff that fixed it was 'Krylon Crystal Clear'
