ARTCAST #76 Playing Catch Up

Saturday, September 13th, 2014

Hi all ... Sorry for missing Thursday & Fridays videos, here's one to make up for it.

In this episode I finish the Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss drawing. I talk about about a lot of random art stuff, getting behind and catching up.

The new Jennifer Lawrence piece is available on eBay - Buy The Original Art

Thanks, see you tomorrow

If anyone during the hangout comments on the event page we can see that, or I can turn on the Q & A feature again if you'r prefer that... In the hangout we can see questions as they come up. ...the only thing is the Q & A message pops up even on the old videos. ...so, no best answer yet.

Awesome Jeff.

Real good Jeff. Yeah- folks gravitate to rendered art for sure, but the cartooning has done better for me personally as of late. I think hits like Frozen, Tangled etc. are igniting a renewed interest in traditional cartooning with the younger generation. But your right- generally folks see a completely rendered and realistic piece and assume it is superior. I think it is perspective for sure.
