Friday, November 28th, 2014

Hi all ... Today I'm starting the oil paint on my new piece, based on the Robert E Howard / Conan story, 'The Frost Giants Daughter' I talk some about the support I've received from friends on the web, and also some of the inspiration for the new pieces.

Looking forward to seeing the finished piece Jeff. Like the detail on the centuar piece. The upper half of the body had some great looking tones to the muscles. Will be a very nice piece, once complete and re stretched out. Really wish I wasn't so tired and so late here I really want to draw now. On to the next piece and my next artcast me thinks this weekend. Keep up the glorious work sir!

Wait, your taking the weekend off!?! You should keep posting everyday! (And only then you'll reach Artcast 1,000,000!!!) Really digging the new work, I say your taking the right road! Keep it up!
Does the minotaur fantasy painting (The one you show at the end of the video.) have pieces ripped off? I couldn't totally tell ...I saw white places on it. (Maybe damage.)

Thanks Peter, the centaur piece does have some damage, The back of another board stuck to it when the water damage happened. I'll be able to fix them though
