No comments on Tanya's belly? ...
Well it's probably for the best, cause if there was a negative who knows what she might have done :)
I didn't get much work on the armature done over the weekend. I've been working a side job, the interior of a big office building, and it just wears me out by the time I get home.
I did do a little though, I got the screw working the mouth. I had to go with a 2 1/2" inch Phillips head instead of a cap screw, but at least it reaches the full length of the face and I didn't have to modify the design any. I also built up the skull with some hard sculpey.
Tomorrow my goal is a finished pair of eyes, which are already in the works, and possibly to get the new head sculpt into some plaster for a mold.

Hey Jeff, Sorry I missed your blog yesterday. Tanya's belly looks great! Although, I'm really glad I'm not a girl. Women are tough! Yeepers! I wouldn't want something crawling out of me that averaged 8 pounds! Big guns has trusted you guys with something special! I'm happy both of you are happy!
It seems that a bunch of my clay buddies are having babies lately, Webster then Marc and now you! Maybe they are the next generation of clay animators and might perhaps work together one day! Both of their babies were boys so perhaps yours might be as well! Do you guys want to know the gender before the birth or have it be a big surprise on B-Day?
The puppet is coming together nicely man! Really cool armature design! Glad you found a solution to the screw problem. It does make sense to have the screw on the top of the head!
No, we're waiting to find out. As long as its healthy and has all its parts in the right place I don't care if its a boy or girl.
I think the screw will be much better this way round. If nothing else it'll be 100% easier to get too, and that's got to count for something.
