PUPPET LEGS

Stop Motion Puppet built by Jeff Lafferty

I finished padding the lower half of the puppet tonight. I used some green cushion foam, t-shirt material and gauze athletic tape.

I’m pretty happy with the results.

One of the big mistakes I made with the first puppet was to pad him too tightly, which ended up restricting his movements and made him tough to animate. Since this one has got the better armature (ball-n-socket instead of wire) it doesn’t seem to be an issue this time around.

See you tomorrow
Jeff

Nice man, very nice.
Did you considered leaving little holes in order to tighten the screw if they become loose while animating or this can't be an issue with your type of armature ? It is with mine. Keep going.
