TROUSERS - DONE

Stop Motion Puppet trousers by Jeff Lafferty

Tonight I finished the trousers and I’m pretty happy with them. I’m planning to have them under a broad heavy belt and tucked into a pair of boots. Of course there will be a few accoutrements as well, a dagger and sword, possibly a leather pouch.

I also took Vincent Te’treault’s - link advice and went back and exposed all the cap screws. This way I can easily tighten any of the ball and socket joints that might work themselves loose while I’m animating.

Thanks for the idea Vincent.

Next up, I’m planning on doing some redesign to the face.

See you soon
Jeff

Hey Jeff, Amazing few post's you have put up in the recent day's man. I'm really glad to see you working on your film again. You have been making some great progress and the puppet is looking just fantastic. I love the trousers and it's going to look even cooler with his effects. Good idea exposing the heads of the screws Vincent, Your blog is amazing by the way. Love the work you are doing as well! All this stop-mo work is very inspiring! Thanks for sharing with us Jeff!

Yes, the trousers are very nice Jeff.
I try to always have an escape door when building my puppet if something goes wrong 'cause sometimes, you can't go back.

Keep going man !
