Just wanted to say thanks for all the great comments on my last blog post. I really appreciate the kind words and encouragement!
The last piece was so much fun I decided to jump right into another, before I have a chance to loose my momentum. Here's another piece based on the Conan story … The Thing in the Crypt.
I just love the imagery from that story!
Along with the new art, we also had an electrical fire, last night in our bathroom.
Tristan, Tanya and I (& Cinder) are all fine, so no worries, and I managed to put it out before it got too out of control.
Anyways here’s a couple pictures of the carnage!
Actually it wasn't all that bad, and I’m already cleaning up the mess and started putting the wall & wiring back together.
Thanks everyone

Jeff Lafferty glad you and your family are fine. Awesome art!
Awesome Jeff - looking great, as usual. Can't wait to see it finished. Also, glad to hear you guys are fine - scary, dude!
Holy crap, that's got to be pretty scary! Glad you're all okay. Nice art though dude.
your new art s amazing... but mostly, I'm glad nobody was hurt and that you've been able to fix it ... *hug*
This is what you do as a past time? Fixing electrical and hanging dry wall? Man, you are a hardcore hobbyist with that. Glad to hear everyone is safe. Was it a faulty wiring or did something chew through the shielding and the wire touched something? Glad to also hear you have the knowledge and ability to do all that yourself. Some of us in the world REALLY need to learn to do that shit ourselves. Great painting btw!
Can't wait to see the full detail of that Conan piece. And I too am glad to hear that you and your family are safe.
Great colors and movement in your latest piece!
Damn. Electrical fire. That's scary.
Whoa! :wow: Glad you guys are all okay!
Jeff Jai Dee ... Thanks Jeff!
Eric Muller ... Thanks Eric, we appreciate your comment dude.
Thanks Mike ...Havent seen you around for a while, hope things are going well for you.
MoonyMina ... Thanks Moony!
JonRiggle ... Thanks Jon. I'm not so much a hobbyist, its just from years of being broke and having to
learn this stuff, cause I can't afford to hire someone to do it for me. I'm pretty sure the wiring sparked when I plugged the dryer in, that lit the dryer vent on fire, and the burning vent in turn caught the plug on fire. The bad bit was it was all happening behind the wall so I couldn't put it out right away. I finally squeezed in beside the furnace and got to it that way.It could have been a lot worse, so I'm thankful.
S-Louis-King ... Thanks S
justinsdrawings ... Thank you justin
Rhonda-Young ... Thank you Rhonda, we all appreciate your comment :)

spectacular!
I hear ya. I'm glad you were able to save your place and family. And you have a lot of information that it would seem this world is desperately in need of. Could make a few videos on how to's with basic stuff too! 15 bucks a rental - not bad. lol
But back to the norm now and as I said repeatedly - glad to hear you're all okay.
Absolutely amazing!
